I believe that AI, particularly generative AI, creates a unique synergy between art and technology, transforming the landscape of expression and interaction. While there is a fine line between using generative AI as a tool and relying on it solely for creativity, I view it as a powerful resource. It enables us to explore creative ideas that would otherwise be impossible, similar to augmented reality. AI also aids in the early stages of artistic development by providing resources to quickly generate ideas early on in the creative process; as well as producing work we want to see come to fruition just for ourselves!

“Fast Fashion” is a generative AI photo series which plays on the concept of high fashion and fast food. Each image is a creative play of designer names and popular food chains. The series showcases a model in an editorial photoshoot style, set in a fast food restaurant, wearing iconic pieces from the respective designers and enjoying food from the corresponding fast food chains. This juxtaposition highlights the contrast and humor between the worlds of haute couture and everyday fast food culture.

Gradie is an AI-generated aspiring influencer. She was designed as an experiment who exists solely on social media, with the goal of observing whether she can become an influencer in a society where para-social relationships are increasingly prevalent.
