To coincide with the Ivy Park - Halls of Ivy drop, I created an immersive and interactive augmented reality filter that allows users to generate their own I.D. What is needed to be a student at the University? A custom student I.D.! Once the screen is tapped, users have 3 seconds to pose for their portrait. After the 3 seconds, their face is “scanned” with a houndstooth film pattern, a signature pattern for this collection. The portrait image is then captured, and the user is shown the completed I.D. with space to add their name or handle and their student I.D. number. Each I.D. number is unique in that it changes daily, incorporating the numerical date of capture following the release date number sequence. This filter offers a fun and personalized experience, aligning with the Halls of Ivy branding and enhancing user engagement through interactive digital media.
Inspired by the Ivy Park Rodeo campaign, I created an interactive augmented reality filter for Instagram based on the hat that become iconic from the campaign shoot. The filter features a 3D model of a cowboy hat designed with a purple cow print, emulating the custom hat by Patric Wang used in the campaign. Utilizing a face tracker, the filter places the cowboy hat on the users’ heads, creating an engaging and stylish experience. In addition to the hat, the filter includes dynamic text that displays the day. Users can interact with the filter by tapping the screen to change or turn off the displayed text, adding an element of customization to the experience.
